Go into options, and tick "Make front and rear output devices play two different audio streams simultaneously". If you don't have the Realtek HD audio 2nd output in your playback devices: Open the Realtek audio manager, and at the top by the close/minimize button click the settings button. If you're using a program like Skype you might have to go into audio settings in the program and change it there as well. I found out the Realtek HD Audio 2nd output was the one that was connected to the front audio jack.
I right clicked on all and looked at the "jack information" section. I was going through all the devices listed under "playback devices". I'll post the answer here just in case anyone is as clueless as me!
